Paper Summaries

Paper summaries are only due before discussions. Each paper summary is due at midnight the day before the corresponding discussion. Half credit will be awarded if the summary is turned in before class begins. No credit will be awarded if the summary is turned in after class begins.

Paper summaries should include:

• Summary of the paper contents
• At least 1 question for discussion (just the question, don’t need to provide an answer)

Paper summaries will be turned in via Hotcrp (link will be posted shortly).

Discussions

Each student will present one discussion session during the semester. The purpose of the discussion section is to encourage class discussion about the paper in the reading list for that day.

Students should email their presentation slides to Mengjia 24 hours before the discussion section starts to receive feedback on their presentation.
