Time flies. For us the memory lives, and it remains as vivid as it was in
1990, when Ranjani and I visited Arvind at LCS carrying compliments from
Prof. V. Rajaraman. We were awed by the Parallelism Profile plots all over
the walls of LCS, as Arvind walked us around. Dataflow Architectures was
something very different and it was for us a dream come true to be walking
aside Arvind. Ever since that day, both Ranjani and I continue to pursue
architecture work which has some semblance of Dataflow computing. In course
of time, we got to know Arvind more closely, and each of us had the good
fortune to be a member of his Lab as visitors from the Indian Institute of
Science; Ranjani spent a year during 1991-92, and I during 1993-94 at LCS.
Arvind continues to motivate us even today, and no visit of ours to US is
complete without meeting Arvind at MIT. What's more, today we are proud to
have Arvind as an advisor in our new technology incubation startup Morphing
Machines (www.morphingmachines.com) at the Indian Institute of Science. 

We wish Arvind a great healthy and prosperous life ahead, and look forward
to his guiding us in our activities at Morphing Machines Pvt. Ltd.
